This pharmacy medicine is used for the treatment and prevention of iron deficiency where iron supplementation is appropriate. The gradual-release system delivers iron steadily throughout the digestive tract, while vitamin C helps improve iron absorption. Overview Ferrograd C is a pharmacy medicine containing ferrous sulphate equivalent to 105mg elemental iron together with 500mg vitamin C (ascorbic acid). It is formulated using Gradumet® prolonged-release technology, which gradually releases iron after swallowing to support effective iron replacement.
