Its formula combines salicylic acid, LHA, Zinc PCA, carnosine and Airlicium to help unclog pores, reduce the visible appearance of blackheads and provide a mattifying effect while maintaining hydration. Overview Effaclar K+ is designed for oily skin prone to recurrent blackheads and irregular texture rather than primarily for inflamed blemishes. The formula contains salicylic acid and LHA for exfoliating skincare, Zinc PCA and sarcosine within the oil-control formulation, plus carnosine, Airlicium, perlite and vitamin E.
